Return and Refund Policy
[UK Clothing and UK Clothing Europe] (“we”, “us” or “our”) want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward return and refund process. Please read our Return and Refund Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Policy”) carefully to understand how returns and refunds are handled.
- Return Eligibility:
We accept returns for unworn, unwashed, and unused items within 14 days from the date of delivery, provided they meet the conditions outlined below:
- Condition: Items must be in their original, unused condition with all tags, labels, and packaging intact.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase with order number is required for all returns and exchanges. A valid receipt, bill and invoice are the proof of purchase.
- Packaging: Items must be returned with original packaging to ensure safe transit.
- Non-Returnable Items:
The following items cannot be returned:
- Final Sale or Clearance Items: Items purchased at a discounted price or marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance Sale” are non-returnable.
- Customized or Personalized Products: Products with personalization (name, embroidery, etc.) are non-returnable.
- Hygiene-sensitive Items: For health and safety reasons, underwear, swimwear, intimate apparel, and other similar items cannot be returned.
- Gift Cards / Coupons / Promotional vouchers / Digital Products or any similar promotional, gifts and discounted products are not eligible for return.
- How to Initiate a Return:
To return an item, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us:
- Reach out to our Customer Support Team at info@the-ukclothing.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and reason for return.
- If your return request is approved, we will send you a Return Authorization along with detailed return instructions.
- Return Authorization:
- We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) to track your return. Items without an RA number will not be accepted.
- We will also provide you with the return shipping address and any special instructions for the return.
- Preparing the Return Package:
- Ensure that the item is properly packaged to avoid damage during transit. Use the original packaging if possible and securely tape the box to prevent items from shifting.
- Include all original accessories, tags, and invoices with the returned product.
- Return Shipping:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our side.
- For your protection, we recommend using a traceable shipping service (such as registered mail or a carrier with tracking) to ensure the item reaches us safely.
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return process, so please ensure it is adequately insured during shipping.
- Refund Process:
Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund according to the following guidelines:
- Refund Method:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method (e.g., credit card, UPI, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.) and original purchase currency.
- If you paid with store credit or gift cards, a refund will be issued to the same account.
- Refunds for orders paid using bank transfers may take longer to process due to bank policies.
- Processing Time:
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving your returned item.
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 7 additional days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Restocking Fee:
- A restocking fee of up to 100% may be applied if the item is returned without its original packaging, tags, or if the product does not qualify the return eligibility or the terms of this Policy and showing signs of wear, damage or usage.
- Exchanges:
Currently, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, style or product etc., you need to follow these steps:
- Return the item for a refund as per the steps outlined in point 3 (Refund process).
- Place a new order for the item of your choice.
This helps us ensure that you receive the correct item in the best possible condition.
- Defective or Damaged Items:
We make every effort to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition. However, if you receive a defective or damaged product, please follow these steps:
- Contact us immediately: E-mail us at info@the-ukclothing.com within 2 days of receiving the item.
- Provide details: Please provide a description of the issue along with photos of the defect or damage.
- Return Shipping: We will arrange for free return shipping and offer you either a replacement or a refund, based on your preference.
If the item was defective or damaged due to a mistake on our part, we will bear the cost of return shipping.
- Non-Refundable Situations:
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The item shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
- The return request is made outside the allowed time frame (usually 14 days from delivery).
- Items were purchased through a non-refundable offer or gift cards or promotional discount.
- The item is returned without the necessary documentation (e.g., proof of purchase (Invoice, bill, etc.).
- Shipping Fees:
- Non-refundable Shipping Costs: Shipping fees (including the cost of initial delivery) are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to an error on our side (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).
- Return Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, except for defective or incorrect items.
- Free Shipping: If you qualify for free shipping (e.g., orders over a certain value), and then return the item(s), we will deduct the original shipping cost from your refund.
- International Orders:
For international orders, please note the following:
- Customs Fees and Import Taxes: Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are non-refundable.
- Return Shipping: International return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We suggest using a traceable shipping method for all returns.
- Payment Method and Currency: Refunds for international orders will be issued in the original payment method and purchase currency.
